Accommodation

All of our language schools abroad offer the possibility to stay in accommodations located near the school.  All of them are carefully selected and constantly monitored by the schools.  The most popular option is staying with a local family but you will find other options available such as rooms in hotels, apartments, student residences, hostels, etc. 

Depending on what every school offers you may select between different options and prices. You only have to tell us your preferences (Ex: individual / shared rooms, with or without meal service,  near downtown or the school area, etc.).  To ensure the success of your program, we suggest you to stay with a local family selected by the school.  Our experience shows that students learn much faster the language and feel comfortable when living and sharing the local customs in a friendly family atmosphere. 

Family stay:

By living with a host family you will experience much more about the home country’s lifestyle and get a better knowledge of its culture. All of our Spanish, French, German, Italian, English and Portuguese schools select these families very carefully and make sure that you will feel comfortable and considered as part of the family.

Although some of our schools are located in big cities, they will always try to lodge you near the school building -no more than 20/30 minutes by public transportation.  You will be able to choose between single or shared rooms and be served meals (only breakfast, half or full board).

Unless specifically requested, our students are never lodged in a family house with other students that speak the same language. It is very important that you let us know if you have any special preferences. In cases when the student is vegetarian, allergic to pets, etc., we will immediately notify the host school staff and they will do their best to satisfy the special needs that you may have.

Apartments and Student Flats

These lodgings are usually located in downtown or in residential neighborhoods.  Students can stay in private or shared rooms in flats where other international students live.  Some schools offer private apartments with additional services such as meals, laundry, air conditioning, Internet access, etc.   Prices depend on the location and facilities of every apartment and it is necessary to pay a deposit upon arrival. The deposit will be given back to the student at the end of the stay whenever damages in the apartment have not been caused.

Student Residences

Residences or Student Homes are generally located near the school. Their location is no further than 10-20 minutes walking distance or using  public transportation.  This option is ideal if you wish to get to know other local or international students within a “university atmosphere”.  Double, triple and multiple rooms are usually available.  Although their facilities vary in every country, all of them normally have a common cafeteria / meeting room, kitchen and shared bathrooms.

Hotels, Hostels & Apart-Hotels

Several schools abroad offer other options such as Hotels, Youth Hostels, Bungalows, Apart-Hotels, etc.  They all are usually located closed to the school building.
