 Ireland
Ireland is an island of great beauty with rugged mountains, blue lakes, ancient castles, long sandy beaches and picturesque harbours. The climate is mild and temperate throughout the year. The Irish are relaxed, friendly and hospitable people. The country is vibrant with energy, vitality and creativity. Despite its increasing urbanisation, Ireland has remained a safe and welcoming country. From the bright lights of Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick in the Republic of Ireland to the breathtaking countryside in between - Ireland can deliver a host of activities along the way!

 Galway

Galway is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland. The city has many colourful and distinctive districts, despite its small size and population. This is partly due to the city’s age and partly due to its recent rapid growth. Like many older European cities, the periods of history which the city has witnessed have left their mark on the central and outlying areas. The city centre is that of a small, coastal town with its roots in the thirteenth century. The streets are narrow and the older buildings cluster cosily together. In this area of the city, many of the buildings and architectural artefacts still testify to Galway’s long history. For those fond of nightlife, the city centre will not fail to please. The greatest concentration of pubs and clubs is to be found in the centre, with practically every taste catered for.

 Galway English School

Our English language school is located in the heart of Galway city on the West coast of Ireland. It is the most central of all Galway English schools having the main train and bus station behind its building, the main Airport Coach arrival and departure point outside the English school and the main tourist information centre just beside it. The main commercial and shopping district is just 2 minutes walk away and there are many small shops and cafés just a few minutes away from the English school.

SCHOOL FACILITIES:
You will study in our new English school building which was opened in 2003, after ten years of operation in another location. There is a large roof terrace looking over the city, Galway Bay and the Burren mountains. The English courses take place in 24 fully equipped modern classrooms which are all fully air conditioned and fitted with state of the art teaching facilities. All classrooms are located on the outer periphery of the building leaving all the administrative offices in the centre. You will enjoy your English classes in classrooms which have a glass wall (sound proof) opening the view into them from the corridors and offices.
