Located in the centre of Europe, Germany is a triad of mountain ranges, uplands and low-land plains – the Bavarian Alps in the South, the pleasant wooded mountains of the Mittelgebirge in the centre of the country and the low country along the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts in the North. Germany´s natural landscapes offer fascinating opportunities for an unforgettable vacation: from water sports and bicycling to hiking and skiing – Anything is possible!
Which German city offers the most interesting art encounters? Such a question is difficult to answer. It is one that German cities contend over from the north to the south. In the meantime, you can visit more than 5,000 art and exhibit houses in Germany overall.

The "Free and Hanseatic City” of Hamburg is Germany’s second-largest metropolis with one of Europe’s biggest ports. Elegant and cosmopolitan, Hamburg is now a city of palatial office buildings, magnificent promenades, international musicals, extravagant shopping malls – and the famous Reeperbahn and St. Pauli. The magical aura of faraway places is still alive in the old warehouse quarter and the little canals. Hamburg is also Germany’s greenest city, with many spacious lawns and lovely parks. |
