You hear plenty of talk about gauchos and the tango when you mention Argentina, but for many travelers its the country natural wonders that are the primary attraction. They range from the northern deserts to the southern Andean cordillera and from Iguazú Falls to the magnificent desolation of Patagonia. Despite its large geographic size, travel throughout Argentina is easy because of many local airports and one of the best bus systems in the world. Busses offer free movies, free meals and comfortable service to all areas of the country. With an enormously varied climate, travelers can visit subantarctic rainforests, tropical jungles, mountains, beaches, desert red canyons and awesome waterfalls. No matter where you travel, Argentina has something special in store for you. |

Buenos Aires is a big modern metropolitan city with a population of eleven million. The main tourist attractions here are the wide avenues, the beautiful squares, the nightlife and the excellent restaurants, shops and commercial centers. This cosmopolitan city reflects a mix of European influence, alongside local and cultural elements. Tango is probably the best way to describe the Buenos Aires’ spirit. It is danced in parks, squares, and ball rooms. |
